  1. Hello to all! What an incredible adventure you all are having. The pictures and stories are so wonderful. I am so thankful for the blog and wait for your posting every day. I read every word and reread several times to try and take it all in. We miss you so much and know you are having an amazing experience. The pictures are so helpful and so spectacular. what a hiking experience that most have been.

Your art work is very creative and I love the SGIS crest and signature. Your time there will be remembered always by the children's lives you have touched and by your host families and the community. I am so sorry to hear of the illness and hardship, but these memories will pass and you will remember and treasure this wonderful and unique experience.

I cannot tell you very much about what is happening at home, as Sarah's father and I have been traveling in the southwest while you all have been away. Like you we have had a great time but we are ready to be home. You will be so glad to hit the shores of the US; there is no place like the security , comfort and privileges of home in the US. International travel is very hard and especially when you have been as submerged in a foreign culture as you have. I have spoken with a couple of moms and know they are following your journey and missing you as well. We all miss you all so much. (Sarah, we love you and miss you beyond beyond belief! I hope you are better and I have you in my prayers daily.LYTM)

Time is coming soon for you to leave your host families which I am sure will be very sad. Sarah, please leave behind ANYTHING you have with you that you feel will be helpful to them and can enrich their lives in any way. We can replace it. I encourage others to do so as well. You will always feel good about these "gifts"

I know time is flying and you will soon be on your way. Time is a funny thing, so fast and so slow.....

Safe travels and we await your arrival with great anticipation! Enjoy every minute til then. We promise no potatoes and hot showers waiting!!!!
